From: Tahlbee on 4 May 2006 15:22 When using Authorware or Director to convert WAV to SWA, is there a limit to how many files you can convert at one time? I cannot seem to do more than 12 at a time. Any work arounds?

I think what people did was to use their favourite sound editor to convert to MP3 and then simply renamed the extension to SWA, because it is (correctly?) supposed that a SWA is an MP3 minus some headers and track info. From: Like Fries w/ That? on 5 May 2006 09:12 I don't think there is a limit to how many you can convert at one time. There is a limit on how many you can add to the list to convert. I am usually limited to adding 23 files at one time. I select those, click on Open. Once they're in the Convert .wav window, I click Add Files... again and get the next 23. I just do this until I get all my audios, then I press Convert.

I suspect there's a 512 character limit on the filenames string that gets put in the 'File name:' edit box portion of the Open dialog. Where it says: "MySound1.wav" "MySound2.wav" "MySound3.wav" etc.... Chris Forecast
