I am currently working/building a desktop system using LFS-6.5 and BLFS-svn.

I am trying to get automounting of USB/CD/DVD drives working

I have HAl, udev, pmount and DBus installed and the KDE media notifiers are
running.

Under Storage Media in the Control Center the Enable HAL backend ( No
support on this system) and the Enable CD poling are grayed out.

Does this mean I missed something when I compiled Kde?
