Yes.. thats one of the responses I get. ;) Meanwhile its still doing it by
default setup all this time.

Actually I'll admit I like Gnome w/ compiz and I do run it on some machines.

ok go to wigits file system and drag quick access to the desktop and
configure it then go to desktop settings and the preview tab should be
working then follow your instincts and play with it. For the function you
are looking for i have working i you the folder view widgit which gives me
direct access to my home folder.

Ok, I think I must be being stoopid. I shall go away and have a bit
more of a play. Read the post down there --v and it looks sort of what
I want. Watch this space....
