Hi Alan,

Yes the .lbi file is empty - not a byte of code at all. I still get the errors.

This makes me think it's a bigger problem than just the file, but I'm not sure where to start looking.

Your site cache is corrupted.

EXPORT the site definition. Then REMOVE the site from the Site Manager.
Then IMPORT the definition you just exported. Try that library item update
now.

another way to do this- select this site definition in dw
menu-->Sites-->Manage Sites, and press the Duplicate button. This creates an
identical site def but with a new name and site cache file.
