Actually it'd be lots of smoggy CO2 bubbles that might just stay put
down there.

This might be the solution to the the sequestration problem. Instead
of pumping power plant exhaust to the bottom of the ocean, relocate
all coal, oil and gas power plants down there!

Steel ball just a little less than 21 inches when kept at close to
absolute zero pushed into pipe will expand and seal the pipe. Maybe
cilinder shape better.? Maybe liquid hydrogen would do the trick for
getting it to shrink. Hot oil would help it seal better. Pipe is heavy
and strong. Steel very strong rods could go through pipe(holes would
have to be drilled first) so it can not ever be pushed out. Takes
good engineering but its based on good science thinking. Did they
ever give the reason why that heavy funnel did not work? It was one
of my first ideas. Well not all is wasted kids are making "Tar Babies"
in their beach sand box. They call them Obama's He cotton to off
shore drilling. TreBert

Have you still not figured out that libertarianism had nothing to do
with the spill or are you a compulsive liar?
