All the action is shifting to web forums (e.g. www.physicsforums.com).
This is unfortunate because web forums require registration and the
act of posting can be a big hassle.

Not many appreciate the simplistic beauty of Usenet and consequently
it will be left open for the hordes of do-nothing imbeciles.

I am a do-nothing imbecile but have appreciated the simplistic beauty of
Usenet for many years now. Being swallowed up by "Google groups" has not
helped matters nor the insipid bots that have hit some groups very hard.
These cross posts are not welcomed either I am nearly sure.

You may agree, the 'Web' started a downhill slide. The simplistic beauty
