From: ps56k on 22 Jun 2010 18:50 I have a Linksys BEFSX41 router - Recently it has developed an ailment like an old TV set. You can hear a high frequency sizzle-crackle like sound. I don't think there is anything like a flyback transformer, but what could be causing this same type of sound ? If I break the seal & crack it open - what area should I look at ? -- ---------------------------------- "If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something." - Steven Wright

It's not likely to be a power issue, but it's simple enough to check out. -- _____________________________________________________ Knowledge may be power, but communications is the key dannyb(a)panix.com [to foil spammers, my address has been double rot-13 encoded]
