Hi, I am working with net-snmp 5.2.4. We are running an agent whose supported trap list can be modified dynamically. Wonder how to accomplice this. Can anybody highlight how to make this happen? Is there any configuration file like snmpd.conf where I can do this? My design works like this: whenever the user ... 30 Apr 2010 04:00

Drawbacks of sending UDP packets larger than MTU?
Hi list, I'm wondering about the reliability of sending UDP packets that are larger than the MTU of the link. I know that, contrary to TCP, UDP does not do fragments, but IP has some fragmentation ability, so it should take care of that regardless. However, I saw that in the kernel there is also support... 23 Apr 2010 17:32

Hi, Using Debian Lenny, default install of ntp on several servers. The only change applied on most servers is to add a line to a nearby startum 2 server.
