There have been a tremendous number of improvements on the Atheros modules since the base 2.6.29.6. I built a 2.6.32.3 and booted - what a difference (no more ndiswrapper or mdawifi). The AR9285 chipset shows supports by the new ath9k module. http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/ath9k#supported_chipsets I'd consider building a new kernel under Slack13.0 on that EEE before giving up entirely. -- Slackware 12.2, 2.6.27.7, Core i7 920, GeForce 8400 GS RLU #272755

The best luck I had was with an Ubuntu flavor. |
