Yes, no problem. I did it in a 8050, 8250 and a 8250-LP.

The Rockwell 6532 is still available at http://www.unicornelectronics.com/IC/6500.html
and not expensive: 6.99 USD

Can you or anyone else tell me is a TMS2532 a drop in replacement for
the 2332 Rom>? Are there any subs for the 2316?
