Maybe earlier version too ? Earlier versions better, the later versions are rarely used because of tie-ins with DRM-RIAA people. I believe they even went bankrupt and sold out to one of the big companies. Keep your firewall active, and monitoring outgoing connections if you decide to install it. []'s If you have a helluva lot of files you want to tag, you can do it in a few minutes, the "trial period" is more than enough.

Turns out that now that I have a handheld, I'll be dealing with tags a little differently so need to go back and re-do the tags on all my songs. I could use MP3Tag but along with Oscar's renamer being able to automate my renaming files, then if I had an app that just did its thing via drag'n'drop, it's be quicker. _Then_ if necessary, I could go back and fine-tune the odd file with MP3Tag. So still hoping. I don't relish the numbers of folders I'd have to go through manually otherwise ... :)

Hmm, thanks for this. I used to use MJ years ago and I do seem to remember there was a freeware version. My mmemory might not be so good. Wonder if I have a copy lying around somewhere backed up to CD. I'll have to check. thx |
