Sounds like you are talking about Project Server? You'd be better to
re-post on the newsgroup dedicted to this product:
microsoft.public.project.server.

Or, if you are checking in a Project MPP file into something else, then
best to talk with the people who run this service for you.

If you are using the desktop version of Project, you can use the notes
of Project summary task to document it - a workaround :-(
