OK - There is definitely something wrong with the "improvements" made to
Hotmail and Live mail. Since going to the new format, I cannot log into MS
Messenger at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and I still get the
error and request to send it over. Unfortunately, the cahnges cannot be
undone and seem to slide over the various messenger accounts on my system.

Is there any ETA on a fix? Or can a fix be published on the Microsoft site?

Do you mean Windows Live Messenger?
