From: Richard Ellis on 25 Apr 2010 09:27 I just purchased a used copy of W.Wang's book, My New Mac (2008). I'm not a 'new' user of Mac but I find the book to be very informative and useful. It describes how to use some of the applications on OSX and he does it in a step-by-step manner. I wish this book would have accompanied my first iMac (OSX). It's basic, includes how to use iCal, how to do "preventative maintenance", play and burn CDs and DVDs, gives ideas on how to back-up HD and/or files, all good stuff for the new user and people like me who love Macs and never really bothered to go any further than email, photos, and music... I know there are other books out there -- so I'm not trying to sell this one. Just passing info on... de -- Everybody is right. -Rochefoucault |
