My Mac FF latest turns some numbers into phone number links where
there is no basis for it in the HTML. Any ideas what pesky
intrusion is doing this?

I had an add on, it was "Telify", that is what caused it and I
have must have forgot I installed it. Hope this helps me. Don't
let me know if it does or does not. I am not interested any more.
