No problems here (TomTom 930T) - it allows hands-free calling from my
iPhone 3G too.

Is there a cheap/easy way to do this, or preferably stop it happening on
USB attached drives?

Thanks, Rob

Are micro-SD cards the same as SD cards, in that they have a sliding
lock that prevents writing to the card?

No they don't.

The thing I love about Tomtom Home is it removes the need to worry about
files 'n' stuff on the Tomtom. I don't care about the directory structure of
the Tomtom or what files live where. I don't want to manually copy stuff
to/from the device. I want to press a magic button and have it update the
maps/cameras or do a back up.

Tomtom Home achieves that for me :-)
