The Restart required was initiated on 6/24 at 10:02:39. At that point the desktop changes into the startup background so no time is available. After the Sudden Shutdown, I immediately launched the startup sequence which finished at 10:06:22. The following are selections from 3 logs. They don't mean much to me. But perhaps "you" will see some clues as the reason(s) for these sudden shutdowns. Thanks in advance. It appears the hard shutdown occurs right in the middle of the software update. Nothing in the logs you posted indicate why that might be happening though. This may be a hardware (battery, power manager, etc.) issue. -- Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me.
