From: Giovanni Azua on 4 Apr 2010 07:09 Hello, Does anyone know where to buy the right mounting screws for installing a new SSD drive in a MacBook Pro? MacBook Pro upgrade documentation refers to these mounting screws here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3419 But apparently Apple won't sell those, at least not here in Switzerland. SSD brands e.g. Crucial does not offer the screws as part of their SSD package either and the ones already installed won't fit the new drive. Can anyone advice, TIA, Best regards, Giovanni

You could try to determine the size and thread pitch (compare against other screws the laptop uses in other locations) and buy from a hardware (nuts-n-bolts type hardware not computer hardware) 'site online, or check for notebook repair centers in your region as they may have spare screws they'd give or sell to you.
