From: Grinder on 3 Apr 2010 00:07 Is anyone aware of a device that would permit me to adapt a USB keyboard/mouse (trackball actually) combo for use with PS/2 ports? There are plenty of inexpensive adapters that permit the reverse scenario (PS/2 keyboard/mouse to USB ports), but nothing going my looks universal. There are gizmos like this: http://www.startech.com/item/GC46FM-Replacement-USB-to-PS2-Mouse-Adapter.aspx ....but that hinges upon the design of the keyboard and mouse, and would not work for any device. A word about the USB keyboard/mouse: I don't think it's been designed to use the aforementioned adapters, but it also does not require any special drivers to work in Windows XP and up. (It also appears to work in Windows 98se, but I didn't run an exhaustive test.) Here's the keyboard if you're interested: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823176018
