I've not bought any DVDs very recently so haven't needed to medium-shift them while I've been catching up on recorded TV. I've previously had decent results but if I had been gifting anew, I would have waited until I had some discs I was otherwise unable to deal with. > I admit I was put of by the "donation procedure" of v. 3.
