From: Snacks on 29 Jan 2010 04:42 Using Outlook 2007. Is there any way I can default the Show time as: in every new appointment as 'Free' instead of the default 'Busy'. Have read other discussions where they can double click on the date to create the new appointment and creating a new appoint in this manner defaults to 'Free' but 2007 doesn't appear to do that.

All-day events will have "Free" as the default "Show time as" value, but times events will have "Busy" as the default. I don't think there's a way to change that. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

If you click the all day box to disable then enable, does to switch to Free? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Poll: What version of Exchange server do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=33803 "Snacks" <Snacks(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CB06A246-04FC-4E22-A279-E937383FAD12(a)microsoft.com... > Using Outlook 2007.
