Stein and Shakarchi's Princeton Lectures in Complex Analysis Below is from an Amazon review of this complex analysis book which I am considering buying "Note: theorems of Picard and Mittag-Leffler are not proved in the textbook - they are actually assigned as exercises for the reader to prove). If you need the proofs of these theorems, look them up elsewhere." Does any... 7 Jun 2010 16:37
[Combinatorics] Ball choosing problem Hi, there. Here is my question: Given n balls numbered from 1 to n, what is the possibility of existing l balls with consecutive numbers after choosing m balls from the whole ball set? (P_{n,m,l}, where 0<l<=m<=n) Thanks~ ... 6 Jun 2010 13:49

Separating AC Components From DC Several functions in an equation have ac and dc components. If all the dc is filtered out of the functions for ac only and then all the ac out of the dc, will the equation hold for just the dc and just the ac? The equation doesn't do anything more than add, multiply and divide the functions. Bret Cahill ... 7 Jun 2010 18:51
