From: Kartik Narayanan on 12 Apr 2010 04:28 Prior to installing office2007,IME will be a 64 bit component which is as seen in Task manager. But When office 2007 is installed IME starts working as 32 bit component. When will be the 64 bit version of office 2007 available.

Office 2007 products are 32 bit only. Office 2010 will offer 64 bit versions. During the Office 2010 beta, you cannot run Office 2010 64 bit and Office 2007 32 bit on the same computer - you can run Office 2010 32 bit and Office 2007 32 bit with a few exceptions: http://www.microsoft.com/Office/2010/en/faqs/default.aspx#24q probably the official release will be the same.
