From: mrceolla on 28 Sep 2009 14:30 After research I understand that I am supposed to have a policy titled "Windows SBS User Policy" but it is not there. How could this have happend? This is a fresh install of sbs 2008 with no migration. How do I resolve this problem? I am getting this error logged because of this: Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-Small Business Server/Operational Source: Windows Small Business Server 2008 Date: 9/28/2009 1:20:00 PM Event ID: 302 Task Category: ClientDeployment Health Level: Error Keywords: User: SYSTEM Computer: SERVER.domain.local Description: The User accounts cannot be added into GroupPolicy 'AllSBSUsers'. Please Verify the GroupPolicy 'AllSBSUsers' exists. Please help ASAP. Thanks, Mike
From: mrceolla on 28 Sep 2009 15:03 I don't know if I somehow deleted it or not. Regardless, how do I recreate it? Could someone look at theirs and let me know what's in it? Help please!
From: mrceolla on 28 Sep 2009 16:01 I have recreated "Windows SBS User Policy" based on what I found here: http://www.sbslinks.com/windows_sbs_user_policy.htm But I still get that error logged every 20minutes. Anyone?!?! Mike
From: mrceolla on 28 Sep 2009 17:19 In hopes of helping others: I found this: http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2009/09/03/how-to-manually-create-the-sbs-2008-and-wsus-group-policies-objects.aspx Which included step by step instruction and a link to a .txt file that you run with gpotask.exe to re-create the default SBS GPOs. Since running, I have not had anymore of those errors pertaining to AllSBSUsers. Mike
