Hi Sue,

I have the same problem with my emails transferred from Yahoo account. Seeing that you have managed reverting this process is there any chance that you could advise how did you it step by step, as I cannot see your earlier post.

Thanks a lot!

Move e-mails back to Yahoo from Outlook

Hello. I apologize if this is a duplicate transmission, but I cannot seem to
find my original post...

I am running Windows Vista and Outlook 2007. Is there a way to
auto-transfer all e-mails in an Outlook account/Inbox to a Yahoo
account/Inbox? I have a Yahoo e-mail account and when I set up Outlook on my
new laptop, all my Yahoo e-mails (Inbox only, not sub-folders) transferred to
Outlook. I have found that I prefer Yahoo, so I can be at a friend's house
and look at e-mail, so I would like to know how to transfer my messages from
Outlook, back into my Yahoo account. I have over 300 messages, so I was
hoping there was a way to do this automatically, just like they
auto-forwarded to Outlook, I would like to auto-forward them back to Yahoo.
Just a side note, but I was never able to send messages from Outlook, so I
cannot even try to send them to another e-mail account.

If I never open Outlook again, I am good, but all the e-mails that are in
that account are now lost, since if I try to access them, any new Yahoo
messages auto-forward.

Help!!! I know someone out there knows the answer because every time I ask
a question, you "guys" always have the answer :-)

Thanks in advance!!!!!

No, there is not an easy way to return mail to the Yahoo server. If you set
outlook to leave mail on the server, you can read new mail anywhere.

It can't be done, properly. The only way is to send yourself an email to the
Yahoo! account, and include the downloaded email as an attachment. I don't
know if it can be done in bulk, or if it can be done in bulk, that the
result will be convenient.

A straight "Forward" of the email loses all of the routing information in
the headers; it is as if the email originated from you.

Yahoo! only offers POP3 access, not IMAP. So you can't restore the email to
the Yahoo! servers intact.
