From: Jabez Gan [MVP] on 13 Apr 2006 14:10 I dont have any mui pack on my end at the moment, so please try doing a: muisetup /? and check if you have the commands running correctly. Also, try opening CMD and type the command: muisetup.exe /i 0804.msi /s /r See if it works. If it works, save the text: muisetup.exe /i 0804.msi /s /r into a .BAT file and run this file to install on other servers. -- Jabez Gan [MVP] Microsoft MVP: Windows Server http://www.blizhosting.com MSBLOG: http://msblog.resdev.net "Gael" <Gael(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:868FFDF0-CED1-41C5-9F53-AE0720D36C07(a)microsoft.com... > cmd file is use because is include un a batch file for server > deployment... ;) > > and the line is same as my cmd file.. but don't works apparently :s > > "Jabez Gan [MVP]" a ?crit : > >> You are trying to install the MUI packs on all clients machine, and to >> use a >> script to change the language? >> >> You can create a logon batch file and use the command: >> >> \\server\setup\muisetup.exe /i \\server\setup\0804.msi /s /r >> >> I'm not sure what that .cmd file is used for >> >> >> >> -- >> Jabez Gan [MVP] >> Microsoft MVP: Windows Server >> http://www.blizhosting.com >> MSBLOG: http://msblog.resdev.net >> >> >> "Gael" <Gael(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:E74ACAB4-BD79-4157-9EEC-BA816F7F911C(a)microsoft.com... >> > Packages were realize by another person... nobody in support team (when >> > I >> > say >> > support, i means support department in my company) has information >> > about >> > it.. >> > >> > it's necesary do specify that mui was not use every day... >> > >> > >> > >> > "Jabez Gan [MVP]" wrote: >> > >> >> Why not you follow up the issue with the technical support team? >> >> >> >> -- >> >> Jabez Gan [MVP] >> >> Microsoft MVP: Windows Server >> >> http://www.blizhosting.com >> >> MSBLOG: http://msblog.resdev.net >> >> >> >> >> >> "Gael" <Gael(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> >> news:5E7E7447-566A-4B8A-9AB3-E2F3863B77E1(a)microsoft.com... >> >> > Hi, >> >> > >> >> > I'need to install W2K3 R2 with mui for russian and chinese >> >> > simplified >> >> > >> >> > Technical Support Team gives me mui.msi with a inst.cmd & mui.inf >> >> > 0804.msi >> >> > 0419.msi >> >> > inst.cmd : >> >> > muisetup.exe /i 0804.msi /s /r >> >> > >> >> > when I install xxxx.msi, I can change language in regional settings. >> >> > but when i run inst.cmd installation stop immediately... withouit >> >> > error >> >> > or >> >> > log. >> >> > >> >> > how to auto install mui packages? >> >> > how to change language on logon windows (if possible)? >> >> > >> >> > thanks >> >> > G >> >> > >> >> > >> >> > >> >> > >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> |
