Most of the "Universal" PSUs have a range of plugs (mine does) and these are usually reversable so that you can get the polarity (thats the + and -) right. Might be a good time to buy one - if the Mustek can be made to work then you have an A3 scanner (just what you always wanted), and if not, you have a Universal PSU for the next time you need one.

Bella - I've got one of those jobbies at home.
