Thanks! But why is there so much variety? Why plus and minus? Volts and
amps. Oh actually no, you don't have to answer that!

Why nouns, verbs, prepositions and conjunctions? Why adverbs as well as
adjectives? Why metaphor, simile, exclamation and interrogation? Why
subjunctive, optative, litotes, hyperbole, anastrophe, synecdoche?

Language is a much more complex business than electricity...
