Never tried in the first place. When you have a working solution why do
I need another one.?

Are you connecting to 4.1 or 5.0 mySQL or both. ?

I use:

- VO 2.7b-1 (Build 2753, but I think there isn't difference if you use
2.7b-1 Build 2740 for our case).
- VO2ADO Standard
- ADO (MDAC) 2.8 (I also tried ADO version 2.7 without problem)
- MySQL 5.0.18 and 5.0.19
- ODBC Connector 3.51

Into the SystemDSN you have to create an entry like: MySQL-ODBC (this
name exactly must be given as value to ConnectString SERVER=MySQL-ODBC;

Thank you George and others above !

I use MDAC 2.8 SP1 on Windows XP Sp2 and I have still problems. I strictly
keep your instructions, George. As I told you before I do not have problems
with a connection, but when I initialize AdoServer. -> Yust unexpected
error.

TIA

Andrej
