Saying something happens 'now' is meaningless unless you have a time (and location) measurement and a framework in which to interpret it so as to work out at what time (and place) in space and time one was referring to when saying 'now'. Often one can deduce that from context, of course. Its simpler just to refer to the place and time directly .. especially when one is talking about physics :):)
