From: ps56k on 31 Jan 2010 21:08 I have a couple of Netgear powerline adapters used around the house.. XE102, etc - and was reading some interesting threads on the Netgear forums concerning all these powerline products not working with Windows 7... http://forum1.netgear.com/forumdisplay.php?f=53 Anyone have a Netgear powerline adapter and running Windows 7 ? Can't quite figure out what Win 7 could do that would cause an Ethernet port on the laptop/PC to not work with the powerline adapter - and yet XP works fine - hmmm - wonder if it's not really Ethernet, but a little higher in the stack and maybe something with TCP/IP and the end to end connection ? Anyway.... just seemed really weird - -- ---------------------------------- "If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something." - Steven Wright |
