From: Camille Kater on 6 Oct 2009 10:55 Hi Geoff, I made a complete new installation of Vo2.8 sp3 on my notebook. I can confirm this behaviour showing a long list of classes from the application in the combox inherit from... From: Geoff Schaller on 6 Oct 2009 16:47 Willie. Are you using the same version as us or do you have a newer, secret one <g>. It is quite clear that this behaviour is present in the downloaded install as several other people have confirmed. I have also had three other people here in Melbourne who don't frequent the news group also confirm the problem and the others I reported. The other pain in the neck is treeview duplication from importing MEFs, common entity name corruption (which can be repaired by opening all entities in the editor - cutting them - saving the now empty editor - opening the editor - pasting back) and of course the dozens of unnecessary IDE corruption warnings when you import an AEF over an existing one. The other bug NOT fixed is when you go open a window binary for editing, do nothing (or something) and close it, you still get the warnings about changing the code. Then you go in and out after doing something more and you DON'T get the warning. This is very frustrating because you doubt yourself about changes made, reverse things just in case and so on. This was a bug introduced in SP2 (like the others) and is still not fixed. What did I pay for? SP2 bugs not fixed, enhancements I don't really need, nothing new except SP3 bugs... Not happy.
