From: Brandon Staggs on 19 Mar 2010 11:03 http://www.commodoreusa.net/tech.html I don't see much of a market for laptops without displays. I doubt this one will be any more successful than the prior "Commodore branded" flops. But at least their form factor is reminiscent of the C64. How long before I can own the Commodore brand for a $5 auction on eBay? -- -Brandon http://www.brandonstaggs.com/c64.html

Its a desktop, or a computer for the proliferating HD televisions with VGA inputs.

I know it's a desktop. But it is a desktop built like a laptop without the display. -- -Brandon http://www.brandonstaggs.com/c64.html

I know its a desktop built like kind of like a laptop without a display, except with the keyboard at a more comfortable angle, and cheaper to produce than a laptop because of an easier built and ability to use cheaper desktop components. What I was pointing out was that the number of households in the market that already have a computer display built into their television sets has skyrocketed.

Two things: 1. It isn't new. It's a Cybernet Zero-FootPrint-PC. See here: <http://www.cybernetman.com/en/products/zero-footprint-pc/> 2. It isn't Commodore branded. According to (one of) the websites, they're trying to negotiate the right to use the Commodore name/logo. Basically there is nothing to see here.
