Seriously looking forward to this. Any time scales? :-)

I know it's bad form to follow up your own reply, but....

While I think this is a really superb potential product from an
excellent company (A+A) I notice they're using the 3 network without
2G fall back.

A) This wont be tenable as a complete solution for us as we need UK
coverage (I don't even have 3 coverage in my house in London where all
the other networks have 5 bars)... and....

B) I hope A+A have a good legal team to deal with 3. From my
experience expect them to change their rates and move the goal posts a
week after you launch.

Having said all that, I'd still sign up. :-)

That's interesting... they hadn't publicised that earlier in the week.
(In fact, most of the top half of that page is new information)

It sounds like one of their main interests is data (eg as an ADSL fallback),
so Three wins there as GPRS is fairly useless these days (and more often
than not, out in the sticks if you get 3G at all it's usually Three 3G).

How's the Three and T-Mobile network integration going these days? That
should boost the coverage a bit, though I suspect a good part of the
coverage problem is due to using 2100MHz for 3G.

I suspect they're going through a middleman like AQL rather than direct.
But IMHO commoditisation of mobile network access can't be a bad thing.
