Thanks, but I said "on that page". IMO download pages should have version numbers AND release dates on. Without needing to go to other pages. A "history" on a download page is handy too but less important. A "What's new" or "History" link is fine. I would suggest however that ; A "What's new" page have a "What's new" link. A "History" page have a "History" link. A "What's new" AND "History" page have a "What's new/History" link. IMO the above link falls into the third category. Lastly, a download page for any (windows) program should mention which version(s) of windows it runs on. IMO any criticism of just about any program can be taken as constructive criticism, or the opposite. Depending on who is reading the criticism. The point of my being critical of MesNews however is so that it will possibly become better. :-) Lastly, if one subscribes to one newsgroup from two servers does one end up with the same newsgroup twice ? It appears that way. Is there a way to have "virtual" newsgroups in MesNews ? So that one newsgroup is listed but multiple news servers feed it.
