All good here, to infinity and beyond... in MacSOUP on an iG5,
OS10.4.11. But when I try to send this post, MacSOUP warns me about the
UTF-8 characters, and that they may not be correctly rendered in many
applications.

As you say, there's a certain randomness about all this...
