From: Jim Ford on 31 Oct 2007 19:19 I contacted OCP in Germany querying the durability of their inks. Readers of this forum may be interested in their reply (except of course 'measkite', who's already made his 'mind' up). The reply follows, verbatum: Dear Mr. Ford, thank you very much for your a.m. request. We do not have a general data of our inks concerning durability. We test the fading properties with an Atlas Sun Tester. We take drawdowns of our inks and OEM inks, expose them into one cycle of 4 hours irradiation of UV light, then 2 hours dark fading and then another 4 hours UV light. After that cycle we compare the fading of our inks and OEM inks. The fading properties of our inks are as good or in case of yellow and magenta even better than OEM inks. The tests are proceeded on OEM papers. It is possible that on some papers the durability properties change. For beeing sure to receive original OCP inks you can get them from our distributor in the UK. It is the company Promax Imaging Ltd. Please follow this link (www.ocp-uk.co.uk) to get an overview of what they offer for CIS systems.
