I have worked on many projects where customers could not get help from the original developer of the application. I am working on a current project where the developer gave the customer a ..mde file. The customer has several problems with the application and the developer wants an arm and a leg for the original .mdb file. I am recreating the entire application for less than half the cost of the original .mdb file and will give the customer a .mdb file in case he wants to make modifications any time in the future. All my work carries a sixty day guarantee for the customer to test drive my work. Within the sixty days, I fix any problems the customer finds (very rare) and make any modifications the customer wants. From: AndrewDB on 22 Feb 2010 14:14 I am amazed at the presumptious and totally self-righteous attitude with which my last reply was responded to. Facebook has a facility to block a user who is not wanted, maybe MS should look into placing a similar function in DGH. But then again characters like $teve will find a way around it. -- Kepior Senso Fumor "Stop$teve" wrote: > > "Steve" <notmyemail(a)address.com> schreef in bericht news:ubk$zK%23sKHA.3536(a)TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > > <<They develop applications that leave the client with no aftersales support > > and nowhere to turn to correct bad programming except to have to do the whole > > application over. >> > > > > Yes, I have run across this many times. From: Fred on 22 Feb 2010 15:31 I thought I wrote this already but I guess not. The closest I've ever come is that if you have the simple situation whihc show only line authority, and everyone has one and only one boss, then you can sort of do this with reports and sub-reports and sub-sub-reports Otherwise for straight drawing of such, I like AutoSketch (which is like Autocad lite lite) More precise and predicable that Visio, but Vision also has it's advantages.
