Perhaps, but I'd love to read an explanation of why, if that's he case. If I were to were to switch to using a gmail address here, I'd be the same person posting the same things, and there would be the same reasons to killfile or tag my posts as there are now. OTOH, if I were to switch to posting via Google Groups, it would indicate I've suffered massive head trauma. Now, whether that would make people more or less inclined to read my posts I have no idea. -- My latest dance performance <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_9pudbFisE> Mac and geek T-shirts & gifts <http://designsbymike.net/shop/mac.cgi> Prius shirts/bumper stickers <http://designsbymike.net/shop/prius.cgi>

I _read_ from Google groups on the (extremely) rare occasion when Astraweb is down; I don't think I've ever posted from there ... can't tell, I don't think I can search on that. -- Very old woody beets will never cook tender. -- Fannie Farmer

Hmm... Well, posts from there have their own User-Agent header. I don't know if that would help. -- My latest dance performance <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_9pudbFisE> Mac and geek T-shirts & gifts <http://designsbymike.net/shop/mac.cgi> Prius shirts/bumper stickers <http://designsbymike.net/shop/prius.cgi>
