The point I was making then, and make now, is that I don't like
to see people calling each other names on Usenet. I get enough
of that at home.

You must be referring to quasi, since DeTurck was not
(to the best of my knowledge) a poster. I was generally
favorably impressed with the mathematical content of
quasi's ideas, and I wish she'd come back to this newsgroup.
I judged her on what she wrote, and would again today.
