From: Mohammed AlQuraishi on 13 Aug 2006 23:10 Does anyone know if there are plans for a 64 bit Office 2007? Thanks.
From: Charlie Russel - MVP on 14 Aug 2006 01:57 Office 2007 is in beta at this time. For more information about what is in Office 2007, see http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/beta/overview.mspx There are portions of Office 2007 that are 64bit native, but others that are not. But all will work well in x64 Edition -- Charlie. http://msmvps.com/xperts64 Mohammed AlQuraishi wrote: > Does anyone know if there are plans for a 64 bit Office 2007? Thanks.
From: Mohammed AlQuraishi on 16 Aug 2006 01:11 Hi, Thanks for the reply. Yes I'm aware it's in beta and in fact I have beta 2 installed. I couldn't find any information on the site you mentioned regarding which parts of office are 64bit native and which parts aren't. Is that information publicly available or not? Thanks, Mohammed "Charlie Russel - MVP" <charlie(a)mvKILLALLSPAMMERSps.org> wrote in message news:%23etNKa2vGHA.2120(a)TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Office 2007 is in beta at this time. From: Charlie Russel - MVP on 16 Aug 2006 03:40 There are server components that are 64 bit, I believe. And I've heard rumours of a 64bit Excel version, though I haven't seen it. But the rest of the client suite is 32bit. -- Charlie. http://msmvps.com/xperts64 Mohammed AlQuraishi wrote: > Hi, > > Thanks for the reply.
