Crawl to a stop one foot away from them, and hit the switch to an array of
high-power horns you've installed specifically for this purpose? :-)

Take a picture of the wet front of their pants as they run off? :-)

What does suck is that if you just called the cops every time they sat down,
blocking traffic, sooner or later they'd be asking YOU to stop and they'd
start considering you the bad guy.

Or someone in the SS office who is fed up with their big mouth, and
vindctive enough to fight back. :)

I was informed that they have the right of way, as 'pedestrians' and
can play in the street all they want since it is near the end of a dead
end street. I think it's time to get some of the other neighbors
together to complain. they have filed at least a dozen phony charges
against their neighbors. While I feel sorry for the woman's mother, it
may be time to start calling code enforcement about five people living
in a 45 year old two bedroom mobile home that is falling apart. if they
open their big mouths, there is a good chance that the place will be
condemned, and leave them out on the street. They have already mooched
off everyone else they know, and got kicked out.

If the road was better, I'd do what I did to some kids back in the
early '70s. I pulled to a stop at a stop sign when a bunch of high
school kids ran out into the road and stood in front of my '66 GTO, and
told me they wouldn't move. I just smiled, shifted into reverse and
floored it. You should have seen the little bastards running for their
lives, and out of the cloud of smoke from the tires. :) It rolled back
about 20 feet before I let up on the gas and hit the brakes. One of
them who wasn't much smarter than dimme yelled, "Hey, jackass, you were
in reverse!" I just smiled at them and said, "Yes. I put it in reverse,
this time. Would you like to try it again?"

Another yelled, "I'm calling to police!" I smiled and said, "That's
OK, I'm calling all of your parents." Several were grounded for the
rest of summer vacation. :)

Nice story! :-)

Actually, that's what the neighbor's wife went to court over. She has an air
horn in her Hummer. It's not standard safety equipment, so is illegal. That
and disturbing the peace got her in deep water after the neighbor on the other
side turned her in. I was surprised that the cops (and court) took it so
seriously.

Yep. Of course they'll deny it every time, which makes you look even worse.
