Hi,

To install the patch 124861-18 for oracle 11g, SUN studio pkg is a pre-
requisite. Since we don't need SUN studio to function, how to disable
it for security after it has been installed or any better way to go
about applying the patch 12486-18?

How about making root the owner and set the protection to disallow group
and world?
