Outlook 2007 proofing and autocorrect options grayed out

The specific area affected is "When correcting spelling in Outlook." From: Mark_XKR on 9 Feb 2007 12:47 Keith - whatever you do don't run the Outlook 2007 repair from Control Panel - I did that and it completely corrupted Outlook 2007. I then uninstalled Outlook 2007 and installed Outlook 2003 and I have errors everywhere - such as not sending automatically, messages saying Outlook 2003 not installed properly, ODBC database link errors and OLE errors when I click Send/Receive. From: Tennant on 27 Feb 2007 10:35 Has anybody found the solution to this yet? I'm having the same problem after our Hosted Exchange provider upgraded our Outlook 2003 licences to Outlook 2007 (the rest of our Office suite remains at 2003 version). Now most of the Proofing/Autocorrect options in Outlook 2007 are greyed out. Interestingly, if the first thing you do after launching Outlook 2007 is to go to the Autocorrect options then they are available. However any changes you make have no effect, and when you next launch Outlook the settings are back to their default. Tennant
