Hello Everyone,

we are having Issue at work were we are playing with graph etc in power
point and just a random time it will freeze and not respond. i have been
trying to look into way it is doing what it is doing but have yet to find
out. i have tried applying some of the hot fixes Microsoft suggested but
still the problem occurs.

I have Office 2007 Pro + Version 12.0.6514.5000 and for each one of my EXE
word excel etc under the properties it says the correct version but fot
POWERPNT.EXE it say 12.0.6500.5000.

my question is, Is this right? or should the EXE for power point be
12.0.6514.5000 like the rest and is this what could be causing my issues?

Your programs are showing exactly what I have on my system so that would not
be your "freezing" issue's cause.

That's what I see too.

Is this the hotfix you used?

thank you for your replies,
i have tried applying the Hot fixes to the computers that are experiencing
the issues but its strange that only in Power Point its self does it show a
different version number by going to the office button then power point
options and then resources and looking at the version number which is
12.0.6519.5000 but on the POWERPNT.EXE in C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office12 right click properties and then details it still shows it as
12.0.6500.5000
