From: grolma on 26 Jan 2010 16:51 My E2 died (no power ) so ive got out the TX I had , intending to use it. in the past Ive had problems syncing it with my ubuntu desktop , so i thougth id sync it with bluetooth. Ive given up - the gpilotd daemon keeps on freezing. at the 'shall i restore' dialog box.. So i boot into windwos and try adn sort it out from there. The problem is that as soon as I press the hotsync button on the cable, the palm reboots continually. It gets as far as the location/date and then it starts again. Ive tried a hard reset which hasnt cured the problem. Is there any way out ( other than get a pre, which I dont want to do yet) . |
