You really need to get 10.3.9. Much of the current software requires it at a minimum, including MacPAR Deluxe. I don't believe the original MacPAR will handle PAR2 files at all. I don't know of any software for PAR2 that will run under 10.2.

If you're only worried about using (not creating) PAR2 files, you can use UnRarX -- it should work with all versions of OS X. -- Spenser
From: silkunicorn@gmail.com on 30 Jul 2006 01:28 Hi Spenser, Thank you for your suggestion. I downloaded UnRarX 2.2 but the application won't open. I went to their forum and Peter (the developer) indicated that it won't work for any pre-10.3.9 OS. I have just emailed him and should hear from him to verify this within the next 24 hours. So I'll wait and see. Thomas > > If you're only worried about using (not creating) PAR2 files, you can > use UnRarX -- it should work with all versions of OS X. > > -- > Spenser
From: Rowbotth on 30 Jul 2006 11:22 I'm new to this thread, so if it is a repeat, sorry... What about MacPAR Delux? Works fine for me. H.
