So, to the OP, in case he is confused, if you do not partition into plural volumes, your backup will generally safeguard your windows stuff. I'm pretty sure Parallels Desktop has a feature like VMware Fusion, where the actual virtual disk image can be (or maybe is by default) split into small, manageable 2 GB chunks. -- Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me.
