From: Sue Neyens on 31 Mar 2010 14:16 I have many password protected documents in Word 2003. When I attemp to remove the password protection in Word 2007 via Prepare / Encrypt, the password from the 2003 version does not appear. Therefore, I am unable to remove it. Is there any solution? Thanks, -- Sue Neyens Executive Assistant
From: Graham Mayor on 1 Apr 2010 02:06 If the documents are password protected against opening then open the document, applying the password(s). Then in Word 2007, from SaveAs > Tools > General Options Remove the password(s) and click OK (not protect document!). Save the document. -- <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> "Sue Neyens" <SueNeyens(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B9080DA3-13EA-4E69-8AD5-10AC0540033A(a)microsoft.com... >I have many password protected documents in Word 2003.
