From: Brenda from Michigan on 16 Mar 2010 11:29 Outlook 2007 SP2 User has a personal calendar containing tasks. He has just setup a public calendar in a public folder. Unfortunately, his personal Tasks also appear on the public calendar even when he has his own personal calendar closed. Is he the only one who can see his Tasks this way or will others opening the public calendar also see his personal Tasks? I don't have access to his folder so can't check for him. He's afraid that everyone accessing the public calendar will also have THEIR personal tasks listed for everyone to see. Thanks!

Tasks don't appear on the calendar. They appear in the Tasks folder. They also appear on the To Do pane, but that's not a calendar, either. > Is he the only one who can see his Tasks this way or will others opening the > public calendar also see his personal Tasks? Without some kind of add-in that is copying them, the tasks that are in his Tasks folder cannot appear in a public folder. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
